I heard of this site via Boom Radio so I thought I'd check it out.
I live on the Kent coast and am a keen hiker and fitness enthusiast.

It's a pleasure to 'meet' you. It looks as if we have a lot in common. I'm 57 this year and am very family oriented. I love spending time with my grandson.
We are all big boardgame fans and try to have a game night once a week.
There are some beautiful walks here but it's rather flat! I don't know Surrey all that well but I've heard it's lovely.
I enjoy hiking up north, I love the mountains.
I love to travel and wish I did it more often.

I'm new here and hoping to get to know likeminded females for chats, would be nice if there is a connection to form new friendships through these forums so if it goes well, that would wonderful, if not, at least I've taken the initial step to reach out to connect with people, as the saying goes, one can always try; you'll never know if you don't.
I shall start with a little introduction of myself, I am married, soon to be 56, my children are "grown and flown", I am I supposed what is termed as finding it hard with "empty nest syndrome" but I keep myself busy, I see that you are a keen hiker and a fitness enthusiast. I enjoy walking and when the children are around, we go for hikes in the surrounding Surrey countryside where we live. I like to keep fit but not overdoing it and to eat healthy. My other interests include gardening, 70s and 80s music, watching detective TV dramas, a bit of travelling, doing crosswords and playing board games, to name a few.
