Trying to get started
Watch this postHi there. I joined a few weeks ago but have had no luck chatting with ANYONE. Think I'm doing something wrong. ANYWAY----greetings from sunny, warm , South Florida USA. I know this is basically a UK site but looked interesting so here I am.. I'm definitely a oldtimer. Some interesting facts (I hope)----I had 2 standard poodles until last year when they died of old age. Gotta cat now. Feed ducks, geese, and birds in my backyard. Enjoy listening to music---actually played in a small town symphony as a youth. Alumnus of University of Alabama----ROLL TIDE !!!!

but had to settle for Majer. Anyway I'm in Birmingham England and it has been very warm recently which has caused water shortages and I'm looking quite brown. You seem like a bit of a farmer I love animals and could talk four hours about them.
This is my first contact. I've just joined. I don't expect a reply because it is over 6 months since you joined, but that's alright, Best of luck Bill (my real name)

I live in Brevard county just a bit south of Melbourne. Kind funny that I should run across some one from just down the road in a chat club in England.
I too have a cat and my wife has a dog. What do you do for a living?
Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.
Good to see there more of us Floridians on here. I don't do anything but cash my ss check nowadays. Retired quite awhile back I do have a daughter in Melbourne though so am familiar with your area. btw, I retired from electron ics.
Saw your info on electronics. My experience was in SALES and sales management. I was the Zone Manager for Panasonic ----not the home stuff, but professional video and surveillance equipment. Worked in Dallas,
Atlanta, and Chicago. Lot of travel, but got to see and experience a lot of things.
