How do you enjoy your retirement?

I've been forced to retire due to a medical illness. I try to keep busy with projects around the house. But ... I'm looking for ideas for the winter ... It can be tough on me due to my illness in the cold. Any recommendations?

I retired at 47 and it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. It’s very lonely at times and I get tired of cleaning. I have two adult autistic sons so I always have someone here, but not for regular conversations. They both have their subject of interest and that’s pretty much our conversations. I do go to the library for the occasional class, which is fun. But the traveling I dreamed of doing probably isn’t going to happen.

I think for all these challenges, your tenacity and enthusiasm for the library program is commendable. Consider expanding your social circle by getting involved in some community activities to meet new people or joining some interest groups so you can enjoy more social interaction. Also, explore some other activities of interest to make life more exciting.
