Just joined

I'm divorced and just looking for someone to have a friendship or pen pal with. I have 2 grown children and 1 grandchild. I am still in the workforce as a cashier in a convenience store.

Hi LauraC60
Welcome and hope you enjoy navigating your way around the site. I’m just returning to the site after an absence so I’m finding my way around the new improved format!

Thank you for replying. I am new here, so don't really know my way around.

Hi Laura,
I know how you feel about finding your way around this site. I was quite an active member until a couple of years ago after becoming a bit frustrated with the layout.... I could never find previous posts and kept losing my way but I don’t know whether it’s an age thing but I’m finding the newer format even more confusing. Reading through other posts it would seem I’m not alone!
Hopefully you’ll enjoy the experience and make new friends

This format is confusing. I am use to being able to click on chat and be taken to a room where there are multiple people talking to one another

Hi Laura,
Has it really been two weeks since we “spoke”. I haven’t come across the chat rooms that you mention, I think it tends to be one to one on this site...but I may be wrong!
Happy to message you via the chat section anytime if you want to.
I too am divorced, some 23 years now and have a grown up son and 3 young grandchildren, the newest being 4 months old.
Anyway if you fancy a chat just drop me a line.
Sandra
