New to living alone!

I'm worried that I'm getting too comfortable with being alone. I miss many things that require a partner but I'm finding this to be a problem less and less. Thought maybe I should reach out. I don't know, maybe not. giving it a try. We'll see.

Are you happy being alone? or you're just lonely? I think you should find something that you will enjoy. But, give a try on interacting with people.

Hi Arbyrb5,
I think if you are happy then then just enjoy it but if you find yourself feeling down a little with it all, then its time to try and make a few minor changes before a little down becomes a lot down.
Society puts so much pressure on us about what we should and shouldn't be doing but you seem to have it sorted. If thats the case. enjoy x

Hi Arbyrbs5 !
I never ever follow society. I am myself. Do what I want.wear what I want. no one is going to control me. I'm 67 Years old still wearing blue jeans t-shirt & my cowboy boots. When we go to some one's house & they have kids.If the kids are playing on the floor..Hell I'll join them. lol lol lol And you think I care what the adults think about me.Nooooooo. lol lol lol
Just a quick comment on society. Take care !

Hi Arbyrb5,
it is often the other way around that people worry about living on their own. Whereas you are comfortable with being alone. Enjoy your own company if that is what you are finding most pleasure in. Perfectly fine. Whereas you can make aquaintances who you see every now and then doesn't mean to say you have to have them round for tea. Being alone is what most people find hard. But enjoy your time, space, energy and not having to clean up anyone's mess, only your own. 🙂
