Just joined & hope to make new friends. I work full time at the moment but get sick of spending most weekends alone or playing gooseberry to my lovely coupled up friends. I'm hoping to meet ladies in a similar position who want to meet other females for friendship, meeting up for a shopping trip, a drive out to the country/seaside or just a coffee/drink. I wouldn't say I was lonely because I enjoy my own company but it would be nice to make new friends, hence joining silversurfers. Nothing to loose and maybe a lot to gain.
to chat with like minded people. Live Merseyside area
Recently Widowed, 66 years old, Spanish living in Spain, wishing to make new friends online.
I am an open talkative person, friendly and willing to hear and learn from you. I specially would like to talk to ladys recently widowed like me. Above all because we can understand each other feelings very well and support and encourage to go on. I think it is very important that we talk about our dear ones who have left us but remain with us. Some people, after one year of our loss seem embarrassed to talk about it and keep on saying "Come on, you should be ok by now" ... I am not a mourner but need to share feelings and memories with other people in my situation.
My spare time is spent considering the meaning of life, gardening, waiting in queues, sleeping, and generally being a nuisance.!
