Tree Bumblebees

Hi Everyone,

Looking for advice on how to get rid of Tree Bumblebees from my garden, I don't want them killed but I look after dogs and don't want them stung.

I did Google it and it mentioned they don't like Marigolds, went and bought a few plants but they don't appear to be the slightest bit bothered by them.

Also phoned the local Bee Association but they weren't really interested. Thanks for any help

Hi Lynn if they are in holes in the tree , the possibility is they are either solitary bee's or there's a small hive of bee's, they will be no bother to dogs or yourself I have bee's in my garden and have solitary bee hotels three foot from the back door, sometimes could do with air traffic control when they're busy, have never been a problem in the last 22 years ( the hotel numbers are in excess of 300 bee's). Hope this has been helpful. Brian.
