Hello from the Isle of Wight

I have just joined I now live in the Isle of Wight after moving around a bit I am a Lancastrian by birth.


I like to read a lot of sci-fi thrillers factual books on science and early human history.


I am less than 2 years off retirement and looking forward to it.


I will have more time to do the things I enjoy like listening to music walking and taking photographs I am off to indulge in another of my interests drinking real ale and listening to a live band in the pub

Hi,I also live on the Island and apart from the wintry weather I like living here. I am 71 years young and my partner is 66 ..I swim 3 times a week at the Leisure centre and have various hobbies.My trade was a Sewing Specialist and my partner a Painter and decorator.I also read lots and I love to cook..I can't wait for Spring so I can get out more. Thanks for reading.

Hello barmpot I also live on the Isle of Wight I have been here for 20 years and have enjoyed every minute of my time here, its a wonderful place to live. I am also from the north of England (Cumbria). There are a lot of good live bands on the Island I'm sure you will have a good time.
