Looking for like-minded friends in London

I’ve just joined so introducing myself. I live in central London (Notting Hill) which has been very quiet and lonely during both lockdowns. No galleries, concerts, or museums to go to at the mo and as I live on my own I’ve been pretty dependent on my daughter’s family for “bubble” activities. But there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, so can’t wait!


I’ve recently retired from my job as a part-time Librarian in a local primary school, which has given me the opportunity to take on new projects and leisure activities - when we are allowed to.


I’m happy to join in with anyone else who is also London based to visit places of interest or attend free talks/events in the city. There will be plenty of things going on again, soon I hope, which will become more interesting when in the company of like-minded people.


I love entertaining at home and visiting friends and have missed this aspect of social life most, but fingers crossed!
