Anyway my name is Terry I am 75 years old and live in Southampton
at the moment but may be moving soon up near Manchester. I have
been with silver surfers for a few years, and have met many people
to chat with, mostly via email as it’s easier and more private, so I am

I originally joined this site a few years ago to look for a travel buddy,
I had no luck with that so I did a lot of independent travel mostly
through East and Southern Africa, a continent that I love, I am lucky
to have visited 17 countries in Africa, and next year I hope to go to
either Cape Verde or The Gambia, 2 places that I have not been to
before.
I am on the South Coast of England, and have only visited the States
on one occasion, that was in 1966 whilst I was in the Army, we went
to an US Army base called Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, I was
only 18 at the time and it was a big adventure for me.

I no longer work I am in the fortunate position of having sold my company in England a while back .
I just enjoy life now between my two homes (one in England one in Ireland).

I am so sorry I missed your hello.. I am having a hard time learning how to navigate and use the site properly. I have ancestors from Wales and possibly some from Ireland also. I have tried tracking some. I live in the SW USA.
No worries, I also find it hard to navigate this site so you are not alone.
My wife's family hail from Wales and mine come from Ireland. It makes for an interesting time when Wales play Ireland in the Rugby ever year ..lol.
What part of the states are you in, we have friends in Tennessee and relations in Arizona.
We both retired ( young ), I sold my company and we live the good life here in lovely Fermanagh right next to Donegal .
We spend most of our time walking and showing the dogs ,of which we have two.
Their breed is Russian Black Terrier, do not let the terrier part mislead you they are big dogs . For example the eldest one weighs 55 Kg ( which is on the smaller side for the breed)
Anyway keep in touch and if you are ever in Ireland come stay with us we have plenty of room and get lots of visitors all year round.
