Hello from Australia!

New to the group; 65 year old single guy who loves walking with my dogs and photography.

I am lucky to live in an area with lots of wildlife, I get koalas in my garden trees and even have a kangaroo pass near me on my walks.

Hello ,good job this isn't snail mail, plus ,our posties indulge in going on strike rather than delivering BILLS ,there's always a good side to everything ,I'm only talking to you because you have Woofers ,,,,English word for dogs ,,,,, Most people who keep dogs are usually nice to know ,I love horses since I found out what they were ,I lived in Southern Ireland for a few years close to some superb beaches ,,, and me being the only human there ,until a latch key dog found me ,so we met up every day ,walked together , then he went home . Seals usually popped up to check me out , ,,,so rude !!!! they stared for ages ,,,

Wow! I too, like the idea of seeing Koalas in your garden. The most exciting animals we see in the Midlands, UK, are foxes, badgers, hedgehogs and birds such as sparrows, bullfinches, magpies and pigeons. We have a zoo close by and over the years people have spotted some escaped animals. A gorilla escaped once and someone found a flamingo walking down the main high street. The flamingo had a walk around and then found his way back to the zoo. On one occasion a woman phoned the police because she could see strange eyes looking at her from the bottom of her garden. She said it was some sort of weird animal perhaps a rabbit. She stated that it could jump high. When the police caught it , it turned out to be a kangaroo - an escapee from the zoo. To see cute koalas though must be lovely.

Wow! Koals in the garden - how fantastic. Australia is on my list of places to go, but not the cities, more the wide-open spaces......
