Hi from Dublin, Ireland!

Have just joined Silversurfers.

The place looks lovely, but it's taking me some time to find my way around.

Am interested in General Chatting, getting to know some new people and possibly making some friends. My interests are Gardening - I have a small garden.

Painting - I go to a weekly class and paint in acrylics - Irish scenes. Interior decor - have just moved house. Theatre. Travel in Ireland.

Am aged 78. Looking forward to meeting you.

Thank you so much for that warm welcome, dear Yodama. Such a lovely user name! You are interested in yoga judging by your beautiful avatar.

As for Art, I enjoy painting Irish ocean and rock scenes. Also, like to paint ancient Irish historical sites. and flowers. Just today I have received a notification from a meetup group who are starting a 10-week course on Vedic Art - near me. Am considering joining, though it does sound rather expensive. Have to think twice.

The city and my garden are looking well at this time. Gone are the cherry blossoms and pear and apple blossoms, but the trees are bursting with green foliage in preparation for producing lots of fruit later on. Out back, I have a big burst of brightest yellow from my laburnum tree. The bees, both honey, and bumble are flocking to it. Out front, I have quite a show of blue and pink from jasmine and clematis. I can't take credit for any of these as they were here when I moved into this house almost two years ago.

Looking forward to hearing from you again, dear Yodama. Have a lovely day. Valentia.
