Just moved back to my home town of Liverpool, is any body else from Merseyside?

I've been away a long time so it's like moving somewhere new and I seem to be just as isolated moving back as when I left and had nobody. I have all my family around but they might as well be stranger to me. I don't do facebook either and everybody conducts there whole lives around that hideous thing so I miss out on what's happening, I'm always the last to know anything even from my own kids.

Hello Hilday1, I have just joined Silversurfers - about 2 minutes ago, so I am not yet familiar with how things work but I happened to notice your comment. I do not come from Liverpool but I live in St.Helens, which as you will know isn't that far from Liverpool. I like to go into the city centre to watch plays on either the Playhouse or the Everyman, both lovely theatres and because they aren't that big they are cosy and welcoming. I also like to visit the two cathedrals because they are so different from each other. Not all cities can boast two cathedrals. Perhaps chat on here with you again some time.

Hiya Veronique,
Nice of you to respond lol! It's a whole new set of rules of engagement and language when you start chatting on "social media" lol!, I opted out of typing in school, I wanted to work with people, well I can do that standing on my head but I wish I had took typing now, even basic level lol! I've just bought a computer and internet mannual but I'm still hopeless lol!. It's so time consuming when you don't quite know what your doing lol!
I went to St. Helens a couple of weeks back for a chinese banquet. It's a very busy place is St.Helens, I encountered several "assertive" drivers on the way into town lol!
Both my cousins are actresses and I used to go to the theatre a lot before I moved away, I haven't got back into going yet, mainly because I'm still finding my feet being back. I love my city and know a fair bit about parts of it but I love find out new things.
Chat again soon x
