Watch this postHi I am a newbie to the forum and I am just finding my way around so forgive my mistakes if I make any.
I live in the large community of Basildon but my area which I seldom stray out of is Barstable although apart from the rare signage we are borderline Pitsea or Vange. Has Steelers Wheel once sung we are stuck in the middle.
I will chat about mostly anything and I once loved music/football/movies/ I used to do a fair bit of woodwork/walking locally, but since I caught Covid in May or June and had a few visits to the local hospital I seemed to have lost interest in nearly everything I was loved apart from my family.
So now I am trying to rebuild those interests and thought what better way than to join a forum.
I know I am not one for the likes of Twitter/Facebook and all those that can get very personal, but I do remember liking forums so here I am.

Trying to adjust to the forums many sections is quite hard at present and I know I am not helping myself by swanning off for months at a time. So I will try to keep it in my mind to visit daily and hope I can grasp some of it.
Hope you are both keeping in good health and perhaps one day in the summer we can arrange a meet up say at Pitsea market.
At present because of the cold weather winter times I tend to stay indoors because of my emphysema in the summer my breathing improves so that is when I venture out most days to the park and the market.
