Someone (male) to share a Camper Van adventure?

As a youthful 70 yo, I have discovered the adventure of camper van trips in the UK.

My wife does not share this love of adventure and the open road, so I have done solo trips around Wales, the West Country and Yorkshire over the last few years.

It would be nice to share the experience with another like-minded guy (my wife would probably not approve if my travelling companion was a lady, much as that appeals to me!).

We would share the costs of hiring a camper van, or if you have your own, I would contribute to the running costs. I am fond of books, cinema and red wine. You are never too old for an adventure!

Reading your post made me . I totally agree your wife would not like you travelling with another woman even at 70. Is it just a camper van your wife does not want to travel in? Would she be keener in a b&b or hotel?

I hope you find a travelling companion.

Hi Charles1805,
Sounds like a good idea. Love an adventure and always fancied a camper van trip. I'm Cornwall based, maybe we could meet up for a chat if the distance is'nt too great. I'm happy to communicate by email or here to start with. I'm guessing you live in the south east or midlands. I on't mind driving to meet up, I travel up to London a few times each year, also visit a friend Near Colchester.
