What experience have you had complaining about a Public Service, or is there a complaint you would like share with our community?

Which? launches a new campaign to make complaints count in public services as we find many people don’t complain when they experience problems, and those who do aren’t always satisfied with the result.

New Which? research reveals a third (34%) of people who have experienced a problem with public services in the past year didn’t complain, with reasons being not knowing who to complain to (35%) and thinking that it would not be worth the effort (39%).

And even those who do complain aren’t always happy with the response. Four in ten (39%) weren’t satisfied with the outcome of their complaint and half (49%) felt like their complaint was ignored. Yet nearly nine in ten (86%) of those who were dissatisfied with the outcome of their complaint didn’t take it any further.

Try to discover others who have been similarly treated to form a pressure group. A patient's organisation independent of health service...look online. Local newspaper.
This forum asking for contact with others.Possibly Which.

Again, thank you for your concern. But I have been through the NHS complaints procedure as well as the health ombudsman procedure and am unsatisfied with their conclusions. I am looking for an open forum vehicle.

Again thank you and the bast of luck to you

Where do you take a complaint after the ombudsman tells you that "We have decided that the Trust has provided you with reasonable responses... and have concluded that no further action by us is necessary."
I have been physically and verbally abused on 6 occasions but no-one seems to care!!
I care enough to try and prevent it happening to others attending Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Trust.
