Would you volunteer to be euthanased?

If you were old and sick and pretty much brassed off with life, and if you were offered 'a way out' i.e, a shot in the arm, or a whiff of cyanide gas, and then peace, perfect peace. Would you go for it?

I too am a believer and just hope that when the time comes by Family do not try to contest my wishes.

When you look at the way the World is, innocent victims of Wars around the World are dying ,
nobody questions that , so why should anyone interfere in ones' decision to end their life when it is existing , not living which is at stake.

Yes I would. To see people suffering and in pain having to get to Switzerland is silly. Especially if you are of sound mind and body or left instructions why not. I don't think God would want us to suffer.

I suppose i could broaden this out and ask, 'are there any people, who thoroughly brass you off, that you would nominate to be put down?' I know one or two!

Actually Katz , NO....you can't just do that the Law is to protect anyone who makes the decision while they are Compus Mentis and makes a declaration of intent signed by a Solicitor. HA HA

Do you remember this T.V. Programme a couple of years ago . A Man who was bedridden could only communicate by having a stick in his mouth to use to type letters on his Computor. It was pitiful to see and obviously his wife had to do everything for him. He wanted to die and said so . That was the most compassionate thing anyone could have done.
I was in tears watching this, the next morning he was dead and no one questioned how he died , probably his GP
