Well thank you Lionel but all the younger people have Smart Phones which do just about everything other than washing the dishes! My husband only wants a big button phone mostly for emergency
use. Most of the ones I have looked at have radios which he doesnt want! hard to please I
suppose.

Go on to ebay or amazon & search for slider or clamshell phones, these answer calls simply by opening them when they ring, big button non smartphone ones available, also tesco do clamshell phones, but not sure if their sim free, good luck, mike.

Hi Rose, I've only joined recently, maybe you have found a phone, just in case I believe Tesco sells that type of phone.

Have you looked on www.rnib.org.uk they have big button mobile phones. They have a basic one for £29.99
