Where is Ecclecfechan ?

Hi Carnflower,
Pretty sure that I've passed signs for Ecclefechan when I've turned off the motorway at Gretna Green on my way to Dumfries - so I think Dumfries & Galloway is the answer! I've never had an Ecclefechan cake though - are they any good?

You must try an Ecclefechan when next up here - they are gorgeous .....

Q - How many lakes are there in the Lake District?
A - just one (Bassenthwaite Lake) the others are all meres or waters eg Derwentwater, Coniston Water, Thirlmere etc
