Calf pain

Anybody got any advice on Calf Pain. I have suddenly gotten a nagging pain in the calf of one leg. Been there for about a week. Sometimes the pain isn't so bad, other times quite bad. Thanks.

I agree with CaroleAH particularly if there is redness and swelling.

Hello Jeanmark, thanks for your reply. Went to GP and it is just a muscle sprain.

Good to hear it is not more serious but I'm sure still painful.

Hi Scottish Lady, just wondering how you are and if you have decided what to do.

Hello CaroleAH Thanks for your reply. Went to GP this morning and got all clear. It is just a muscle sprain and will eventually heal itself.

That's great. Take care 🙂

I think that the only sensible advice would be for you to see your GP because it might just be a strained muscle or you could have a DVT which will require treatment sooner rather than later.
