Have you considered starting an online business? I'm currently learning about affiliate marketing online and it's very interesting. You don't need to be technical and you can choose topics you really like or are knowledgeable about. Yes it does mean having a website but you can build one for free in no time now. It's not a process to quick riches but with some input early on it can earn well. You can do it all from home and part or full time and there are no age barriers to contend with either.

My name is Colin and I need some help and advice. I have spent over 4o years in financial services an industry that has changed dramatically. At 59 I need a career change. I also am returning to the UK after 5 years of running businesses overseas. Can anyone offer me some constructive support?
I am expecting some young people from abroad who need to improve their English, they view it as a working holiday!
It is easy to finance because under present regulations, you don't have to pay back your loan until your income reaches a certain level. Details on the government website.
Become engaged with education!
I am a distributor with an eco-friendly online shopping company. You are your own boss, work when you want and in my case in a rewarding industry.
There are lots of these types of companies about and if you put in the effort you can get a very decent income in the short and long term, especially good for that future retirement plan!
