Clothing for older men

HI, my Dad is 64, and struggles to find clothing that fits and that is also cheap. He sometime buys his clothes off the internet as it is easier for him to do. Please can you recommend any cheap clothing stores either online or on the high street? Many thanks,

Most old blokes dress as though they have just been released from a former Soviet labour camp, either that, or they got dressed in the dark... in someone else's house!
Have you seen the way that the older they get the higher the waistband of their trousers gets?
It's obvious that many of them haven't seen the inside of a clothes shop for decades, probably because their long suffering wives have left them, or died, and they were the ones who bought their clobber. Wife gone... full speed ahead with wardrobe malfunctions!
I saw one old boy on a hot summer day, I could see he had on a tee shirt, with a shirt over that, a pullover on top of that and then topped off with a tweed jacket! He must have been so hot, but hadn't the sense to take a couple of layers off.
Another old chap was wearing trousers at least 4 inches too short, they appeared to be held up with a length of rope, in place of a belt. He could have body doubled for Compo, from Last Of The Summer Wine.
I think that someone like Gok Wan could take some of those 'style criminals' in hand and smarten them up.

I don't think I'm a cheapskate, but I do like value for money, so I always bought my Dad and Father in-law's presents during the sales (now I do the same for my son) e.g. Polo shirts, jumpers, shirts and tie sets, I'll buy when there is a BOGOF or Buy one get one half price offer on and put them away until needed. I NEVER leave it till Christmas or Fathers' Day season - all the prices go up then! BHS, Edinburgh Woollen Mills/Pringle stores have some good offers throughout the year and include men's knitwear, gloves, scarves, trousers, jackets, and even shoes/slippers
