Danny Dyer

Hope you all watched "Who do you think you are" - Danny Dyer, last night, - what a wonderful show, the best show of 2016 on TV, - never watch East Enders, but Danny last night your were brilliant. I haven't stopped laughing. Who Do You Think You Are, - had become boring to say the least, but not last night. Danny for the UK Ambassador to the USA I say.

yes danny dyer was amazing and was indeed of royal blood. A very gripping story was his and his emotions shone through to reveal a very lovely caring soul what you see is what you get as i have met him and he is exactly like this in real life. He would make a great ambassador for anything which was for the betterment of his fellow man as he stands for fairness and the ability to say it like it is and interact with people go danny go

Now that would be worth filming LittleMinx.

Do you think he will wear one in the Old Vic now he believes his related (Is that the name of the pub)?
Response from jeanmark made on 27th Nov 2016 15:15:39
Well, I tried with the name of the pub but I neither watch soaps or rugby so i can't really comment. I agree the men do appear to be a little precious, the women seem tougher!

Danny Dyer is a bit 'OTT' for me, however I did find his ancestry trail interesting. I've enjoyed several of the programmes in past few series, and I know when I did mine a few years ago I found it a humbling and quite emotional experience (also complicated to navigate - so was very grateful to a clever and helpful archivist)

I have to say I didn't actual know who Danny Dyer was but I enjoy the programme. I agree it is very interesting to research your family tree as well as humbling when you realise what they endured.

I laughed at a comment on the internet that someone suggested that perhaps the Queen may be rummaging about in her family history to see if she is related to Danny Dyer!!!!! - No need Ma'm, - just check your German side, - plenty of history there.

Yes, it was interesting but I think he was initially was confused between Thomas Cromwell and Oliver Cromwell. If we had the resources to go back far enough, you may find a number of us descended from Royalty.

Did you ever see the one with Boris Johnson? He was so pleased to find out he had descended from royalty and even more excited when realising it had been on the 'wrong side' of the blanket!

Yes I watched it last night. Loved Danny Dyer's reactions to his finds. Great story. Wish I could find such fascinating stuff in my tree!

Hello, BrumEJ43, yes, I watched Danny Dyer on it last night, and although I never watch Eastenders, I thought it was brilliant when they uncovered that he's a direct descendant of Royalty. Just goes to show that we should never judge a book by its cover! I don't mean that in a bad way as some of my own predecessors on my English side were from the East End.
