Do you think Camilla should be crowned queen?

Ten years ago 7% of the British public thought Camilla should be queen. In a similar poll 10 years later 50% of those polled said they now think Camilla should be queen when Prince Charles comes to the throne.
The past decade has seen perceptions of the former Camilla Parker Bowles transformed to a valued member of the royal “firm” whom half the nation would accept as queen.
It would appear that Prince Charles would like her to be crowned with him by his side and also that Prince William and Prince Harry have accepted her role.

The thought of Camilla being styled as queen is an insult to the title. She performs adequately as a duchess and seems a suitable wife but to elevate her status further seems entirely inappropriate as she has no birthright to the title and has not earned the respect of someone who should be given the title.
This move in my opinion, is purely for Charles pleasure and is the nail in the coffin of the monarchy. Sadly the title of queen is irreparably tarnished

I couldn't agree more.
I think that for many of us, the Monarchy died with the Queen anyway.

It is difficult to compare anyone with the late Queen and it seems a little unfair to label those who are destined to follow in her shoes as being less able.
Camilla may be Charles Queen, bit I don’t believe she will ever be the nations.

The Queen specified that she should be designated as 'Queen Consort' only.
There is plenty of evidence to suggest that this was, at most, a reluctant acquiescence to Charles.
Charles is therefore usurping the Queen's expressed wishes.
Not to mention, trampling roughshod over the expectations of the British people, that he would respect these wishes.
To say nothing of whether or not Camilla's past behaviour disqualifies her from such a title?
This isn't going to end well..

I have a low opinion of Charles although he has been rather clever, or rather his advisors have been, in improving his image. However I have not changed my opinion of this weak individual, it’s such a shame he is the one inheriting the Crown from our wonderful Queen.
