Is anyone else suffering from Sleeplessness?
Watch this postAre you suffering from sleeplessness?
I am waking every couple of hours I'm not worrying about the virus, all my family are fine so I don't know why I"m not sleeping properly
The only plus factor is there's plenty of time for a daytime nap but apparently, that's the worse thing you can do.

So just to say Ecarg and Carnflower are one and the same person if you happen across my posts.
I think you are like many, many people right now who are wondering why their sleep pattern has gone mad! There are various reasons why this happens, usually it rectifies itself naturally. The good news is it doesn't sound like you have to be up and out early in the morning? This is hard if you become sleep deprived. The problem with humans is, we are creatures of habit and it does not take long for us to adopt a new one! So, you may find yourself even waking up about the same time ? However, there are certain measures you can put into practice to try and get a better nights sleep. I am sure you have heard them all before, but just in case you missed one....
1. Wind down each evening and try to make it routine, (i.e. similar time, bath, p.j's, milky drink)
2. Absolutely no television in bedroom.
3. A drink of warm milk with a little sugar helps release the right hormones promoting sleep (Seretonin). Avoid Caffeine after 7p.m. if you can.
4. Try not to have naps in the day, as you are correct in thinking it does not help.
5. Some people find gentle music or a little read relaxes them enough to want to sleep.
If this all fails, you may want to try something herbal? in the short term?
Hope this helps, Stay safe.
Have you tried upping your daily exercise Carnflower, it might help
