Make Your Dates Easier, Less Stressful, and More Fun!

I wrote an ebook titled "Great Dates Guide - Make Your Dates Easier, Less Stressful, and More Fun" for Amazon Kindle, www.amazon.com/dp/B01A1Q1FN8. Do I want people to buy my ebook? Yes, of course! But is this a shameless promotion for the readers on this forum? No, it is not. I am 50+ and I spent ten years compiling the information and the links I provide in my dating ebook. I researched the interweb continually for my employers and I also researched the interweb for many years on my personal time! Then, I spent the last 3 years spent writing my ebook with the genuine intention of making the dating experience easier, less stressful, and more fun! Obviously, I want people to buy my ebook; however, keep in mind that I didn't make a penny for all those years I spent researching and writing my ebook. My endeavor is not a selfish motivation to make a fast buck; instead, what I did was put out the highest quality dating ebook that REALLY helps you to improve your entire dating experience - for both single daters AND married couples. For Silversurfers (my crowd), I'd like to share on this forum examples of the vast amount of internet resources that I located and wrote about for the ebook market ... for free! Now, I'd like to contribute to Silversurfers by answering members' questions right on this forum - for free! Ask ANYTHING you want, but here are a few example questions that are right up my alley: • We've really enjoyed a few picnics on dates, how can I change up the picnic date so it doesn't get old? • What to wear on dates is ALWAYS stressful. How do I make choosing an outfit easier and less stressful for my dates? • Anticipation before a date might be exciting for some people, but a date makes most of us so nervous we don't feel good. What can nervous daters do for easier and less stressful dates? I'm looking forward to hearing from the Silversurfers who read this post and to answering as many questions as I can!

Stephen. By the time I'd read half of what your saying, I'd nearly fallen asleep.
In quick response to your ebook, take her to MacDonalds.
Never fails for me. Burger n Chips in the car.
What more could she want!

Rubbish51, do I sense a certain tongue-in-cheek mischievousness in your reply? Burger n chips in the car wouldn't "float my boat" but then I have to admit that I haven't had a date for over four years so who knows!!!!!

That made me smile rubbish51, many years ago I complained to my husband that he never took me out for a meal. He did as you suggested, took me to the nearest drive-thro, parked the car and we sat in the car park eating our take-away. I still laugh at the experience.

My grandfather served in Egypt with the RFC (1916) and he said exactly the same as yours, Lochinvar. I can hear him now, every Christmas (that's the only time we had dates in the house) saying "If you knew what happened to those things after they have been picked, you would never, ever, put one near your mouth"!

I think that, probably in common with most of our generation, we did not ask our parents, grandparents enough about their lives and now that they are gone, we will never know all the stories which can make the Family Tree so much more interesting than just a list of names and dates.

Great photo, Lochinvar. My maiden name was Goy - a Yiddish word for a gentile and there's a photo of my Grandfather in RFC uniform in the Showcase. Poor Stephen - we all seem to have gone off at a tangent instead of reading his dating advice! Are we all too old and cynical or have we been there, done it and got the T-shirt? 🙂
