Sharing my Spanish home for 6 months
Watch this postI would like to meet people who might like to spend time with me in my Spanish holiday home in the Costa Blanca. I am 70 next year and would like a lively responsible person to enjoy social activities in and around the house. The 3 bedroom detached house is in the Alicante region, not far from the airport. It has a large 12x6 private swimming pool and a large garden plot. It is within walking distance of the town. Pets would be welcome. Obviously I would like to get to know the person(s) beforehand. They can be of either sex. I am just tired of having to do things on my own all the time. I have a fair knowledge of Spanish. I want to spend the summer months in the house.

I hope you find a nice person it sounds a wonderful experience.
I read your post months ago and wondered if you found new companions to come and stay with you in Spain. How did that work out for you ? I have been to Spain 3 times to walk the Camino Frances. Love the country and it's people. Your offer interested me very much but I'm not this year. Don't know if you will make the offer again but I would be interested. Hard to meet before hand because I live so far away.
I posted for my dear friend , she has a cottage to share in PEI, Canada. Eli turned 81 ,early in April. She is a little nervous staying alone for the three months this summer. Also posted on Gumtree in Ireland a few months back and here in Nova Scotia on our Kiji ( like Gumtree) . Most replies were just too wierd . One prospect came yesterday but after several emails I think the daughter is looking for a place to dump her mother for the summer.
