TRAVEL GROUP ..... Cambridge, London, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Bedfordshire ..... (or within reach of)
Watch this postHi, Anyone interested in joining our travel group. At the moment it consists of myself and Bwf, both retired 'young ladies' with interesting cultural travel in mind. We both enjoy natural scenery and experiencing what the local life has to offer ... walks, sightseeing, cycling etc. We would like to get a group of like minded people together with a mix of personalities to add interest. Could be males and females but we're not looking for partners. A social group who would like to meet up from time to time for trips, travel, theatre, walks, a meal together and a natter etc. I live near Cambridge and Bwf lives in North London. .... so if you are able to meet up near either of those cities, that would be handy. Interested in most travel from short city breaks, (U.K. and Europe) to travel worldwide. Feel free to message me if you are interested. It doesn't matter if you can't commit to all our get togethers ..... (maybe you have a lot of free time and maybe you can only manage the odd trip). The idea of the group is that there will be someone available at sometime to arrange travel with. Chat soon 🙂

My apologies for not replying sooner but my son had eye surgery last Friday and I've been helping him with his recovery. Quite exhausting work and little sleep.
We'll be having a meeting near Bishop Stortford this weekend ... Saturday or Sunday lunchtime so please indicate which day suits you best.
For the 'Northern folk' I'm planning to visit relatives in Lancashire some time in April so maybe we could meet up at a convenient spot.
Perhaps Pilkie would lead on that branch of the travel group and arrange a get together beforehand if convenient.
The intention is to get a large enough group together to satisfy all tastes in travel.

Excellent idea. I would be very interested in joining a travel group. I live in Lancashire.
This sounds like an excellent idea. just what I was looking for,
I've been fortunate enough to travelled to many places over the years, but the last few years I've been traveling alone. My husband no longer wishes to travel, There are far to many wonderful places left to visit for me to stop traveling now, However it would be a much more enjoyable experience I'm sure, if I could share the experience with other like minded people.

Bishop Storford is about 45 min away from me so would be fine. A weekwnd meet up would be good, I could take Time off work but I prefer to keep my leave for traveling 🙂
