Wouldn’t It Be Loverly

Salutations to Everyone. I have just joined this site and like many, I am hoping to find a friend or two.

I live alone in a small but nice apartment. My biggest drawback is I can’t drive, haven’t been able to for years.

Anyway, as has been said, I’m looking for a friend or two.

What are you really like then? Photo is a bit off-putting! What are your likes and dislikes and are you North, south.east or west? Maybe folks need a bit more.

A cul de sac can be a community in itself! my 80 year old friend who walks with an aid gets her exercise by walking up and down the middle of her cul de sac. She gets plenty of response from her neighbours!

Hello. It must be tricky without being able to drive...I live at the end of a dirt track and I’d be marooned if I hadn’t a car. However, here we are, chatting virtually, something that would have been impossible such a short time ago. I also like actual letter writing. There’s something so lovely about getting post that isn’t unwanted advertising or a bill!
My home is a small, ramshackle cottage with very peaceful surroundings. It’s like a comedy sketch every day as I haul the coal and chop logs. Your apartment sounds like complete luxury. We should exchange photos to make each other laugh.
Have a lovely evening. Dani.

Your cottage and lifestyle sound lovely
I used to live in similiar circumstances which I loved .However things change and I now live in a bungalow in a cul-de-sac in town. I may yet get back to the country but it's a heart over head decision yet to be made'
I also miss the personal letters in the post their unexpectedness brings a surprise to the day and contact from a friend is a real pleasure.
