Watch this postHello. As I write this, we are having a spring snow. It is coming down pretty heavy and I sure hope it melts fast.
I'd like to join a chat because it is an easier forum. Any ideas?
I moved to Maine 20 months ago to be closer to my daughter and her family after living many delightful years in the mountains. It isn't easy meeting people here. Some of it must be the long winters and the other aspect is that most people our age have their friends.
I am always open to meeting new people and having more adventures. Are you?

I lived in Maine 10 years and recently left there in September 2019. You were so right when you said it isn’t easy meeting people there. I wasn’t a church goer, so that eliminated one possibility of making new friends.
I live in SC now, and there are a lot of opportunities to make new friends here via meetups that have nothing to do with dating, although there are some available for those who seek to date. I joined two social groups that were very active before the virus emerged and shut everything down.
