Well, being new I thought I would stop in and say hello to all, from the U.S. in the great Mid-West, hope to finds others here that are interested in making new friends. Well, guess that's it for now, wishing all a wonderful and bright day.
I’m alone, I have no family support or friends.
I’m sad to think that I have two neighbours both know that I’m alone and disabled yet not one of them has even put a note through my door to ask if I’m ok , what happened to community support!!
Has Scotland just decided to look after number one??
I would appreciate it if I just had someone to talk to 😢
I have six grandchildren who no longer live at home with their parents and I very rarely receive a Thank You. It is so easy these days. They could easily pick up the telephone or send an email. I feel like just sending a card.
Do other grandparents always receive a Thank You?
Hello, I've just joined this site and would like to make a comment about the faint type here. Does anyone else have a problem with reading anything on this site? Can a "moderator" or similar help person be contacted to review this print problem? It is reducing the enjoyment of being here as I am really struggling to read articles, and no it's not my eyesight lol. Any help/comments would be appreciated, (providing I can read them!).
Hey I'm new. I joined yesterday. I'm so glad for the opportunity to connect with people my age. Smto care and share. So awesome to share this platform with y'all. I'm hoping to make good and lasting friends.
Often feel lonely even though I am not alone… just want someone to chat with. Right now heading in to work so will drop by again later. I am interested in gardening, sewing quilts (used to hand stitch but cannot see great anymore) I am a new grandmother, have one grand child who just turned 3 but lives on the other side of the country (sigh). I turn 62 this Friday… ok, gotta run for now.
