I'm getting fed up of Apple ID emails. I've never had Apple products no intention of ever buying Apple either. But for some reason people are supposedly buying products from my Apple account. I keep blocking which automatically deletes but jeeze...... I'm tempted to use the settings which block the word Apple all together

My problem is, my husband is early stage dementia, he opens all emails unless I can get there first. Also he chats to phone scammers. A big worry.
Response from Lionel made on 26th Jan 2018 16:56:04
Maybe the answer to your email problem with your husband is to stop your computer receiving emails and you view them online. For example, if you use Gmail go to (could be and log in.

If your husband is chatting to phone scammers, well, it can do little harm because it's not a chat they want it's for him to stay on message according to the script they have in front of them. If he deviates from their prepared script it's a little like a record player's needle jumping out of a record grove and landing elsewhere. Confusion.

Block, delete is how I deal with them. Never open an email I don't recognise, even if they are offering me diamonds.
Watch out for the bots!

I do the same.

Response from Yodama made on 15th Jul 2017 10:21:45
Bots are short for 'software robots' malicious, they arrive as emails/spam, and can then infect your machine.. Bot controllers control a network.
The can cause havoc as they can be remotely controlled.
