Scam emails

Proof that the education system is failing. Have just posted an advert on Gumtree and received a scam email in which not one of the words was spelt correctly  - words fail me!! As they did him on a more serious note we should all be more vigilant when opening emails, never open if not sure. Stay safe

Spam emails are deliberately mis-spelt and written badly. If they were written well and correctly, spammers fear too many people to cope with could reply. It has nothing to do with education - it is to limit replies to those who, through their own lack of education, special needs or neurological dysfunction (so sorry to read jennilinn's post), do not realise this and answer/open links anyway.

Just got a spam email a couple of days ago informing me the porn video I just watched (I had'nt,not into that stuff)had been sent to me as bait.Apparently they used my laptop camera to film me watching it,and if I don't pay them $1,000 by the end of next week, they will share "my video of me watching the porn thing"to everyone on my email list and Facebook friends list.Am I worried? Not at all.I'm innocent.I've forwarded this email to the police.

Lots at the moment pretending to be from HM Revenue and saying you are due a tax refund.

I'm getting fed up of Apple ID emails. I've never had Apple products no intention of ever buying Apple either. But for some reason people are supposedly buying products from my Apple account. I keep blocking which automatically deletes but jeeze...... I'm tempted to use the settings which block the word Apple all together

My problem is, my husband is early stage dementia, he opens all emails unless I can get there first. Also he chats to phone scammers. A big worry.
