No! I haven’t received mine yet and received my letter in October! I usually receive it around the 11th of November as receive Pension Credit. Others I know received theirs a little later than last year but no joy for me!

Ok, so it's going to be late (hopefully not cancelled) either way I think an explanation should be released by the DWP as to why. To send the letters and then make no payment is appalling. Even if this is down to Covid and low staff volumes, this is an automated system like our state pension. What is the problem?

Hi Colleen

Thanks for the response, just to ease your mind I rang Age UK this morning to see if they had any response. They too have been getting anxious phone calls regarding this.
Just to put anyone in the picture they advised that this year it seemed very random and followed not particular system as to how or when 'one' is notified - not by Surname, Postcode, D.O.B or NI No. but that they could only repeat what DWP advising for this year that it will be paid between Oct - February.
It could be due to 'Covid' and fewer staff, but anyone's guess ( including Age UK)

Would be helpful if anyone could post when they have received their payment.
Happy Waiting 🙂

I've had a letter today (23rd Nov) dated the 9th Nov saying that my payment is due to be credited to my bank account BUT that if I haven't received it by 23rd December then I should contact them so hopefully it will arrive within the specified time! 🙂

Another Update,,,,,,,,,,,, Eventually got through to a woman at the DWP who asked if I had received a letter,,,, It seems if you didnt then you would have to answer a series of questions about your account. After a considerable amount of questioning she told me that I had FAILED their examination !!!
When I asked what answer she thought was incorrect she refused to tell me. She told me I had 2 options ,, the first option was entirely useless, the second was that I telephone the same number again ( With a looong wait ) and report a change of circumstances.
This I did, and after waiting for 42 minutes eventually spoke to a person and explained what had happened.
He asked me many questions , all those that she had asked previously, nothing different,, and he said that all was ok !!!!
BUT,,, owing to the fact that I had to go to another department ( him ) I will not receive my payment until possibly March.
It seems to me that these are merely delaying tactics --- Good luck with your claims !!!

My husband died Sept 2013. I received £200 in 2014 and 2015. I only received £100 in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and each year had to phone up about it. This year I have received nothing at all. Why can't they just get it right. I am 75 and fed up of having to chase my money.
Response from ArchieUK made on 2nd Jan 2020 10:26:10
Contact the DWP ,via their website and use a e-mail so that you can record all of their answers, thay can be very helpfull if they know all of your circumstances, but be very honest with them.
